Social Media Strategies

In this 3 hour session delegates will start to develop their own strategy for social media, working towards a defined outcome.

What will I learn in this session?

  • What do you want to achieve with social media, and by when?
  • Define your target audience, and create a couple of ‘personas’.
  • Define your ‘call to action’.
  • Small groups will discuss which (mix of) social media tools seem to be most appropriate, with guidance from the facilitator.
  • Delegates will consider what is ‘manageable’ and ‘sustainable’ in managing a social media strategy.

What preparation do I need to do?

  • There is no official preparation is required for this session, but delegates will need to have a working knowledge of social media (as can be gained through the workshop Social Media for the Scared).
